Atmosphere Controlled Cold Storage Systems
- They have the technology which allows long term storage without impairing product quality.
- They offer the options of long term storage and quality products with a low wastage by means of reducing product respiration rate.
- The freshness and naturalness of products are preserved.
- They do not leave any chemical residual on products.
- They are designed in a reliable and highly efficient manner.
Vegetables and fruits keep growing after they are harvested. They receive oxygen (O2) from the air and release carbon dioxide (CO2) to the atmosphere. As a result of this respiration, the process of deterioration is observed in vegetables and fruits. Atmosphere controlled rooms stop this deterioration process and allow longer and more quality storage of products. Atmosphere controlled cold storage systems almost eliminate the oxygen in the area and instead, create a nitrogen (N) atmosphere. Proper storage conditions are created by way of absorbing the damaging carbon dioxide (CO2) and ethylene (C2H4) released by vegetables and fruits inside the room.
Having been active since 1991, Masas Group has been offering industrial cold storage systems, cold rooms, atmosphere controlled cold rooms, degreening systems, humidification or dehumidification systems, rapid cooling systems and shocking systems with its experienced staff with the understanding of turnkey service combining energy saving, efficiency, economic solutions and sales, implementation and service to meet the needs of customers at an optimum level.
